We’re a homeschooling family in town for the weekend. Could you kindly point us to a swimming hole near Greensboro or anything fabulous this area has to offer that you’d recommend

Hi Christine – I am sorry that I am not familiar with that area as far as places for swimming. They have some really great things to do that are not swim oriented though; Geeksboro Coffee, the GSO Children’s Museum, the Science Center, Weatherspoon Art Museum, Elsewhere! Hope you find a good place for swimming and have time to stop in one of those amazing places for a visit!

Hello, we are looking to have our 8th grade daughter transfer into a homeschool program this year. I’m looking for any information that will help start this process and ensure we meet state educational guidelines etc.

HI Chris – the website menu at the top of the page is a good way to navigate to information about homeschooling in NC. There are resources listed in the sidebars on the pages too and those links should take you to curriculum and other providers so you can look at the programs, classes & curricula that are available. I also have lots of links to the NCDNPE so you can see specifics of what they need from you at the state level. If you have any specific questions, let me know 🙂
