Christmas at Oak View Farm
Come to Oak View Farm, at 4028 Carya Drive, Raleigh, North Carolina and see how people celebrated Christmas from the years 1850 to 1950.
Each day from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., December 5, to December 11, 2016, you can tour Historic Oak View County Park’s Plank Kitchen and Main House and see decorations interpreting five different time periods in Oak View’s history.
History & Tradition
View decor from the Antebellum Era, Civil War Era, Victorian Era, the Great Depression, and World War II.
This program explores how historic events impacted holiday customs, traditions and decorations through the years.
This interactive program includes traditional games and group tours take about one hour.
Popular Homeschool Field Trip
The “Christmas at Oak View Farm” program is open to any group, but this is a particularly popular visit for homeschool groups.
Group Tours begin at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., Monday through Friday.
Cost & Reservations
Programs are free but reservations are required.

Tours at 1:30 p.m., Monday – Friday and on the weekends are available for individuals.
